She was predeceased by: her husband Harry E. Prater; her daughter Dorothy L. Holmes; and her parents, Dave Cook and Lora Cook. She is survived by: her children, Harry "Pete" Prater (Lynn) of Meadowview, VA, Larry Prater (Irene) of Meadowview, VA, Edward "Duke" Prater (Carol) of Hayters Gap, VA, Charles Prater of Glade Springs, VA, Danny Prater (Mary) of Wideners Valley, VA, Jack Hurd (Judy) of Glade Spring, VA and Karen Graham (Mike Keith); and her son-in-law Clayton Holmes of Bristol, TN. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Everyone is asked to please meet at the cemetery and follow the Covid-19 guidelines.
