It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Walker of Glade Hill, Virginia, who passed away on September 19, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Prevette and Julia Prevette; her husband Jack Walker; and her siblings, Lloyd, Samuel Jr., Paul, Grady, Johnny, Phillip, Helen Burnett, Ethel Dalton and Emily Poindexter.
She is survived by: her children, Gail Hubbard, Joel Walker, Penny Pagans and Kim Hodges; and her sisters, Omega Peek and Linda Lazenby. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
