We are sad to announce that on February 8, 2025, at the age of 80, Robert Allen Sr. of Glade Hill, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charley Floyd Allen and Elizabeth Reed Allen; and his brother Patrick David Allen. He is survived by: his wife Linda Neal Allen; his children, Robert Edward Allen Jr. (Angela) of Dallas, NC, Stephen Michael Allen (Kathy) of Grandview, WV and Julie Anne Angle (Tony) of Glade Hill, VA.; his grandchildren, Olivia Knapp (Brett), Lauryn Magill (AJ), Lawson Allen, Matthew Angle (Deborah), Jacob Allen (Kasey), Martina Allen (Kevin Webb), Sidnie Allen (Nick Lazorisak), Rebekah Davis (Austin), Nicholas Allen, Lindsey Angle and Leah Angle; his great grandchildren, Everett, Theodore, Luke, Clayton, Hazel, Denali, Vincent, Tucker, Amelia, Esmé and Magill; and his siblings, Nancy Reid (Lake) of Gastonia, NC and Darrell Allen (Rosie) of Mint Hill, NC..
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Westlake Baptist Church (2075 Scruggs Rd, Moneta, VA 24121). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens (5251 Robert C Byrd Dr, Beckley, WV 25801).
