Mildred Mattox Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mildred Mattox of Glade Hill, Virginia, who passed away on December 4, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Simmons Mattox and Lucy Kate Mattox; and her siblings, Allison Mattox, Katherine Spangler and Louise Pagans.

She is survived by: her nieces, Margaret Taylor (Harry) and Kathy Rakes (Carlton); her nephew Stephen Pagans (Lynn); her great-nieces, Tammy Fortune (Clint IV) and Amelia Pagans; and also, Clint Fortune V and Jonathan Fortune.

A graveside service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Franklin Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Glade Hill Baptist Church (6608 Colonial Turnpike, Glade Hill, VA 24092).
