He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira and Mildred. He is survived by: his wife Janet; his children, Stephen and Lori; his daughter-in-law Lena Defibaugh; his grandson Bryson; his sisters, Susan Goodwin and Bonnie Murdock; his siblings-in-law, Patsy Wingfield, Karen Young, Claude Goodwin and Donald Mabry (Tank); and his nieces and nephews, Melissa Rhodes, Andrea Stancil, Sarah Saar, C. J. Goodwin and Jimmy Murdock. He is also survived by cousins and musical friends.
A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Flora Funeral Chapel.
