We are sad to announce that on December 14, 2021, at the age of 88, William Paul McConnell of Gate City, Virginia, born in Dungannon, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy McConnell and Helen Lemmons McConnell; his siblings, Margaret Collins, Cora Beasenburg, Everett McConnell and Lorena Bolas; his son-in-law Roger Mitchell; and his brother-in-law Leroy Cleek.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy McConnell; his children, Jeff McConnell (Jayna) and Lisa Mitchell; his grandsons, Scott McConnell (Jessica), Austin Mitchell (Stephanie) and Blake McConnell; his great grandchild Ethan; and his sister Mary Belle Williams.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the family requests that no visits be made or food brought to the home.
