He is survived by: his children, Teresa Carter (Roy), Tina Slaughter and Gary McConnell; his grandchildren, Melissa Kleiner, Markeeta Bryant (Matthew), Michele Cooper (Daniel), Sammy Dennison Jr. and Nathan Carter (Maya); his great grandchildren, Jordana and Elise Kleiner; and his grandchildren, Carter, Erin, Elijah Gillenwater, Eli and Caleb Cooper.
