She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill Lawson and Myrtle Gillenwater Lawson; her husband Johnny Wesley Kern; her sister-in-law Brenda Sue Lawson; and her brother Billy Ray Lawson.
She is survived by: her sons, Keith Kern (Rebecca) and Anthony (Breanna); her siblings, Kathy Lane (Butch) and David Lawson; and her granddaughter Bridgett Danielle Kern. She is also survived by 3 great- grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that all donations be made to Gate City Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
