She was predeceased by: her parents, D. H. Elliott and Bess Elliott; her siblings, Denver (Ina), Bobby (Inez) and Anna Rea (Ernest); and her son-in-law Randy Poe.
She is survived by: her husband James Doyle Stallard (Jim); her daughter Melody Poe; her granddaughter Audrey Poe of Brooklyn, NY.; her niece Cathy Strong Houston; and her nephews, Dannie Elliott, Lynn Elliott, Jeff Elliott and Stallard.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 12:45 PM. A graveside service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Mount Pleasant Cemetery, in care of Midway Memorial Methodist Church, 5532 Veterans Memorial Highway, Gate City, VA 24251.
