With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruby Sloan of Gate City, Virginia, who passed away on January 19, 2023 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Barnett Stapleton and Elizabeth Stapleton; her husband Glen Sloan; and her daughter Karen Sloan. She is survived by: her children, Cathy Quillen (Danny), Gary Sloan, Mike Sloan (Donna) and Ronnie Sloan (Misty); and her son-in-law Lester Sloan. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
