He was predeceased by: his father John M. Peters; and his sisters, Betty Jane Peters and Syble Marcum. He is survived by: his sister Violeta Blankenship; his nieces, Pam Smith (Keith) and Connie Baker (Lloyd); his nephew Alan Marcum (Mary Beth); and his close friend Shelby Lester. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
