She was predeceased by: her parents, Truman France and Martha Hart France; her husband Jimmy McArthur Akers, Sr.; and her son Fred Akers. She is survived by: her children, Patricia Lynn Brown (Teddy), Jimmy Douglas Akers, Robert Akers and Michael Akers (Kristy).
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Colonial Funeral Home (456 US-23, Weber City, VA 24290). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 7:00 PM at the Colonial Funeral Home Chapel (456 US-23, Weber City, VA 24290). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, December 24th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the France Cemetery.
