She was predeceased by: her father James Ira "Bean" Lane, Jr.; her husband Harry Gilmer Ervin; and her grandparents, Luther Ramey, Edna Dockery Ramey, Nora Dockery Lane and James Ira Lane, Sr..

She is survived by: her mother Gracie Mildred Ramey Lane; her son Joshua Lee Ervin; her sisters, Shelby Cantrell, Tina Lane and Carolyn Gillenwater (Greg); and her granddaughter Alexis Ervin. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Gate City Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
