It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Patsy Darnell of Gate City, Virginia, who passed away on December 28, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Canary Hammonds and Vadie McDavid Hammonds. She is survived by: her husband James E. Darnell; her sons, James Mickey Darnell (Rochelle), Rickey Darnell (Leanna) and Jason Darnell (Jackie); and her sister Myrtle Jean Sexton. She is also survived by six grandchildren; several great grandchildren.
