He was predeceased by: his father James E. Bowen; and his siblings, Wilma Jean and Paul Bowen. He is survived by: his wife Linda Charlene; his children, Bunny Hutchins and Marty Bowen (Dana); his siblings, Dorothy Saylor, Jay, Robert, Richard (Janie), Gary (Vilas), Roger (Violet) and Johnny (Deborah); and his grandchildren, Kaitlyn Guy, Katherine Honeycutt, Dalton Bowen (Alma), McKenzie Bowen and Kolby Crawford. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The American Legion Hammond Post #3 or The DAV Chapter 38, Kingsport.
