It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael E. Gilliam of Gate City, Virginia, who passed away on December 16, 2021, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgie Faye (Joyner) and Frank Eugene "Gene" G.; and his grandmother Susie Joyner. He is survived by: his daughters, Charity (Jason Barber) and Melinda (Todd Bailey); his grandchildren, Kasey Barber, Emily Barber, Bryson and Levi Bailey; and his siblings, Linda Evans of Kingsport, TN, Frank (Juanita Gilliam), Tom (Sue Gilliam), Larry (Doris Gilliam) and Johnny Gilliam (Eunice) of Gate City, VA.
