Mary Lane Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Lane of Gate City, Virginia, who passed away on September 30, 2021 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, W. M. Hensley and Rhoda McDavid Hensley; her husband Arthur Lane; and her siblings, Alice Hensley, Jean Hensley, Bea Wininger, Herbert and Clarence Hensley.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Calhoun (Dwain) and David Lane (Elizabeth Marie); her grandsons, Stephen Calhoun and Andrew Calhoun (Lauren); her great grandchild Henry Arthur Calhoun; her siblings, Margaret Thacker, Mildred Pierson (Bobby Joe), Shirley Jenkins, Ella Mae Williams (Paul), Dewey Hensley and Worley Hensley (Linda); and her sister-in-law Janie Hensley.
We suggest the use of face coverings and practice social distancing to all of those attending.
