It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha McConnell of Gate City, Virginia, who passed away on May 31, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Conley Darnell and Minnie Darnell (Starnes); her husband H. L. McConnell; and her siblings, Fay Stallard (Darnell), Charles, Roy, Denny and Carl Darnell.
She is survived by: her daughter Patti McConnell; and her niece Margaret Holliman. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and family members.
