He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Davis and Dessie Davis; his nephew Jim Davis; and his siblings-in-law, Clyde Hackney and Jo Salyers.

He is survived by: his wife June; his sons, Greg Davis (Ginger) and Tracy Davis (Vicki); his grandchildren, Nicole Davis, Kinley Davis, Taylor Gardner (Levi) and Alex Davis; his great grandchild Jude Gardner; and his siblings, Wanda Hackney, Barbara Mann and Norman Davis.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Prospect United Methodist Church.
