She was predeceased by: her parents, Kermit Anson Minton and Lora Drucilla Minton Rasnick (Daugherty); her husband Wilbur "Flip" Morrison Matthews; her stepdaughter Linda Robertson; and her brother William Frank Minton.
She is survived by: her daughter Lora Anne Matthews of Gate City, VA; her stepdaughter Kathy Rigney (Lonnie); and her siblings, Wilma Broadwater (Gary) of Nickelsville, VA, Melba Lovett of Jacksonville, FL and Anson Minton (Brenda) of Nickelsville, VA. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
