He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Lee "Charlie" and Betty Jane "Janie" Ison (Casteel); his wife Joan S. Ison; and his sisters, Norma Ison McDavid and Carolyn Ison.
He is survived by: his children, Bryan Kelly Ison (Diane), Jamie Michelle Broadwater, Ashley Renee Ison, Chris Noel, John Price, Steve Price (Renee), Debbie Price Jolly (Mike) and Kim Price Burch (Jim); and his sister Delores Moore. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Hope House of Scott County, P.O. Box 1992, Gate City, VA 24251.
