It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Bowen of Gate City, Virginia, who passed away on October 31, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Bowen and Myrtle Bernice Bowen (Lane). He is survived by: his wife Betty Bowen of Gate City, VA; his daughter Pam Fogle (Scott) of Kingsport, TN; and his siblings, Flora LeVere (Bill) of Flint, MI, Barbara Cox (Bill), Bobby Bowen (Fran), Terry Bowen (Nancy) and Larry Bowen (Sue) of Hiltons, VA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
