It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Alan Falin of Gate City, Virginia, who passed away on July 10, 2022, at the age of 43, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Joe Falin, James and Marybelle Calhoun; his uncles, Mikal Falin, Joe McDavid and Carl Frazier; and his aunt Teresa Calhoun.
He is survived by: his parents, Benny Falin and Janice Falin; his children, Tyler Falin (Aimee), Vanessa Falin, Trevor Falin (Emalee Haun), Chasity Salyer (Ethan), Jonathan Howell and Love (Miranda Howell); his grandchildren, Cayden, Eli, Colten, Kinsley and Olliver; his grandmother Betty Falin; his brother Steven Falin (Cheyenna Campbell); and his cousins, Jason Lane, Jennifer Vicars, Travis Calhoun, Michael Calhoun, Josh Calhoun, Justin Calhoun, Sandy Martin, Billy Robinson, Nathan Frazier, Christy Smith, Robin Short, John Walters, Kimberly Walters, Shelby McDavid, Audra Hartsock and Jody Garrison.
