It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elwood Dennis Horton of Gate City, Virginia, who passed away on December 17, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his son Kevin Horton; his parents, Elwood Horton and Imogene Roller Horton; and his siblings, Donald Horton and Phyllis Hurd.
He is survived by: his wife Debra Horton; his daughter Amanda Flanary (Mark); his granddaughters, Chelsa and Aubren; and his brothers, Joe (Brenda) and David (Charlotte). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (155 Shady Elm Ln, Weber City, VA 24290). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Weber City (155 Shady Elm Ln, Weber City, VA 24290).
