She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Lane and Bernice Gillenwater Lane; her daughter Christina Dean; and her siblings, Rita Street, Midge McDavid and Paul Lane.

She is survived by: her husband Clyde Dean, Jr.; her grandchildren, Whitney Johnson, Ebone Everrett, Hayley Johnson, Madison Johnson, Raven Johnson, Chris Grove, Davonnie Conyers, Quinton Grove, Larry Wright and Alex; and her great grandchildren, Jasmine Johnson, T. J. Johnson, Andrew Johnson, Mercy Johnson and Willow Grove. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
