Dorothy M. Fansler Obituary

We are sad to announce that on November 4, 2022, Dorothy M. Fansler of Gate City, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Garvey Hensley and Dona Hensley; and her siblings, Bessie Thacker and Buster Hensley. She is survived by: her husband James Fansler; her children, Debbie Chapman (Craig), Jerry Fansler (Johnita) and Mike Fansler; her grandchildren, Amanda Porter, Melissa Fansler, Amber Lewis, Ashley Carter and Megan Fansler; and her sisters, Opal Thacker and Patsy Minnich. She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Vicars Chapel Church, 12421 Stanley Valley Rd, Gate City, VA 24251.
