Curtis Templeton Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Curtis Templeton of Gate City, Virginia, who passed away on September 28, 2021, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Orban Clarence Templeton and Renae France; his wife Alice Bates Templeton; his son Wayne Templeton; his daughter-in-law Pamela Pippin Templeton; and his siblings, Betty Burgess, Mary Agnes Templeton, Carl, Chuck and Jack Templeton.
He is survived by: his children, Shirley Wells (Chuck), Jane Smith (Jim), Malinda Sallee (David) and O. C. Templeton (Marquita); his sister Oakie Ervin; his grandchildren, Rhonda Lackey, Jeff Darnell (Audrey), Traci Domalik, Beckie Helton (Keith), Trevor Smith (Becca), Christie Billips (Michael), Joshua Steadman (Heather), Carlee Frye (Rickie), Chris Templeton (Tiffani), Beth Duggar (Austin), Drew Sallee (Tasha) and Zachary Sallee; his great grandchildren, Kylie Sutherland (Tyler), Kasie Lackey, Nealie Lackey, Brock Darnell (Laura), Brooke Darnell, Chelsea Cupp (Travis), Andrea Matthews (Tristan), Seth Helton, Chloe Helton, Gage Helton, Elijah Smith, Mikayla Smith (Jake), Ethan Billips, Skylar Frye, Lilliana Frye, Mallory Steadman, Addison Sallee, Jackson Snow, Brantley Duggar, Ashlynn Dugger, Jacobee Garland, Jordan Templeton, Jake Templeton and Bailey Templeton; and his great great grandchildren, Leland Darnell, Paisley Priester, Everley Southerland, Shanna Cupp, Hunter Cupp, Zane Cupp, Attalie Matthews, Huntleigh Matthews, Allie Smith and Liam Smith. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the services will be private and request all family members to wear masks.
