He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles M. Perry Jr. and Mary Meade Perry. He is survived by: his wife Annabelle Simons Perry; his children, Lesley Perry Mays (Russell) and Charles M. "Casey" Perry IV; his grandchildren, Chelsea Mays and Lindsay Kiplinger (Matt); his great grandchildren, Daxton Kiplinger and Emery Mae Kiplinger; and his brother William R. Perry (Jackie).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Sertoma Club of Kingsport.
