He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Goode and Lelia Ford Goode; his siblings, O. M. Goode, Harry Goode and Nadeen Goode; his wife Gladys "Nina" Goode; his stepson Darell Lynch; his former wife Fran Lynch Goode; and his stepdaughter Sheila Lynn Glover.

He is survived by: his stepchildren, Mark Sampson (Anita), Marlene Frye (Roger) and Sandy Holloway. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren, several nieces/nephews, and extended family.
