She was predeceased by: her parents, Hampton Lane and Eliza Lane (Lyon); her husband James Frank Carter; and her siblings, Clara May Lane Young, Anna Belle "Ann" Lane Barnett, Catherine Lane Williams, Cora Lane Blevins, Maudella Lane, Carl Becham Lane and Edgar Kermit Lane.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Carter Lee (Michael Quiggle), James Larry Carter (Loretta) and Tim Alan Carter (Debra); and her grandchildren, Trevin Quillin, Dustin Carter, Bryan Carter and Benjamin Carter. She is also survived by several step-grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, several step great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
