He is survived by: his children, Stacy Lee Writtenberry and Kent Writtenberry (Kimberly Stagg); his grandson A. J. Writtenberry; his brother Jessie "Cha Cha" Writtenberry; his sister-in-law Alease Spence; his pet Missy; his friends, Steven O'Donnell and Julia Clary; and also Darlene. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
