He was predeceased by: his parents, Elva Wilson and John Wall; his wife Annie Ruth Wright Wall; his foster parents, Ester Jones and Eddie Jones; his siblings, Mae Keeter, Emory Wall, Josh Wall, Jessie Wall, Linwood Wall and Vernie Wall; his foster sister Mamie J. Baird; and his nephew Puddin Keeter.
He is survived by: his children, Sandra Wall Stephenson of Roanoke Rapids and Michael Wall (Stacy) of Gasburg, Virginia; his grandchildren, Lauren Stephenson of Greenville, Meredith Stephenson of Greenville, Tyler Wall (Meredith) of Blackridge and Cameron Wall of Bracey, Virginia; and his half-sister Rachael Wall Allen of Emporia Virginia.
