He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Daniel and Virginia Opal Reavis Weatherman; his children, Marcy Hendrix and Michael Allen Weatherman; and his brother Scott Weatherman.

He is survived by: his children, Debra Felts, Dedra Lineberry and Tim; his daughter-in-law Geneva Weatherman; his sister Thelma Poe of Galax, Virginia; his grandchildren, Weston Felts, Logan Felts, Reid Lineberry, Gavin Weatherman, Brayden Weatherman, Morgan Weatherman, Nick Hill and Hailey Hill; his great grandchild Alexis Felts; his grandchildren, Conner Felts, Aubrie and Peyton; his niece Leighann Dalton; his nephews, Jason (Jaye Weatherman) and Luke (Brandi Weatherman); and his pets, Zoe and Jake.
