He is survived by: his daughter Patricia; his son-in-law Ricky Hamm; his son Tommy of Fries, Virginia; his daughter-in-law Tammy Caudill of Fries, Virginia; his sister Rosie Lee Mickey of Galax, Virginia; his grandchildren, Brooke Hamm and Dustin Caudill; and his close friends, Bud Wright, Herbert Rutherford and Rudolph Rutherford. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
