It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Suzi Lee Hiatt of Galax, Virginia, born in Mount Airy, North Carolina, who passed away on July 1, 2024, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ledford Franklin and Joyce Helene Dauer Hiatt; and her granddaughter Alaina Warf (Baby Larri). She is survived by: her wife Gail Dutchess; her children, Janisa of Galax, Virginia, Landon Viars of Galax, Virginia, Lacey Lawson of Galax, Virginia, Stella of Galax, Virginia and Joey Warf (Elijah) of Galax, Virginia; her stepmother Dianah Ogle of Hillsville, Virginia; her aunt Hazel Jesse; and her in-laws, Denny and Nancy Dutchess. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
