With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rose Hall Vaughan of Galax, Virginia, who passed away on August 22, 2022 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Noah Hall and Myrtle Rudy Hall; and her husband Burley Mitchell Vaughan. She is survived by: her son Ralph Mitchell; her daughter-in-law Della Vaughan of Galax, Virginia; her granddaughters, Melissa (Jamie Stewart) and Allison (Andrew Shortt); her great grandchildren, Madison Stewart, Colin Stewart, Spencer Shortt and Everly Shortt; her close friend Lillie Belle Caudell; and her caregivers, Pamela Day and Linda Stanley.
In lieu of flowers the family respectfully request donations be made to the Longview United Methodist Church, 2998 Grinders Mill Road, Galax, Virginia 24333.
