He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Kyle Roger and Kathleen Lawson Cox; his wife Vickie Cox of Galax, Virginia; his sons, Roger Lee Cox, Jr. of Atlanta, Georgia and Chris (Erin Cox); his granddaughter Sarah Elizabeth Cox; his brother Danny Cox of Galax, Virginia; and his close friend Romelle Lewis. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family respectfully request donations be made to either the Stroke Camp, 8000 North University, St. Peoria, Illinois 61615 or to Vickie Cox to help with the medical expenses for Roger.
