He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Clarence and Josie Ellen Beckner Leonard; and his sons, Robert Gregory Leonard and Steven Jay Leonard. He is survived by: his close friend Geneva A. Webb of Galax, Virginia; and his sons, Bill Webb of Mt Airy, Mike Webb of Woodlawn, Virginia and Doug (Heather Webb). He is also survived by two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; four step-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
