He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lee and Pauline Stephens Stinson; and his brother Rickey Harris Stinson (Bertha Mae Stinson). He is survived by: his children, Rev. Robert B. Stinson (Brandy) of Mt. Holly, NC, Jennifer Stiles (Junior) of Galax, VA, Angela Whitlock (James) of Gastonia, NC and Suzanne Graham of Galax, VA; the mother of his children Sandy Bachler of Gastonia, NC; his nephew Robert Jason Stinson; and his niece Carol Stinson. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home (44 Dan Walters Dr, Independence, VA 24348).
