She was predeceased by: her husband Alton Braxton; her parents, Jesse Dunbar and Carolyn Dunbar; and her brother Jesse Jr.. She is survived by: her sister Jennifer Blades (Leif); her stepson Randy Spurlock (Martha); her grandchildren, Daeshon Mutong, Randy, Jr., Zephanie, Braylen and Lola Spurlock; and her pet Muffin.
She died from diabetic ketoacidosis which was brought on by Covid19 that she had in December.
