He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Catron and Nannie Dixon Catron; and his siblings, Rosa Lee Akers, Anna Lou McCreary, Rodger Catron and Autry Catron.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Catron; his daughters, Marsha (Joe McCraw) and Camilla (Paul Edwards); his grandson Westley Catron; and his sister-in-law Christine Catron of Winston-Salem. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
