He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Carl and Hathel Delp Mabe; and his son Michael Crouse. He is survived by: his wife JoEllen Lundy Mabe of Galax; his children, Becky (Scott Thompson), Mary (Edward Henley), Dwayne (Denise Mabe), Debbie (Gary Hamm) and Mitch (Trina Crouse); and his brother-in-law Don (Linda Lundy) of Modesto, California. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the Mabe family respectfully requests that donations be made to a charity of the donors choice; In addition the family respectfully requests no food contributions.
