It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nellie Bell Richardson of Galax, Virginia, born in Fries, Virginia, who passed away on July 10, 2023, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Farmer and Ossie Cannoy Farmer; and her husband Archie Richardson. She is survived by: her daughter Susie; her son-in-law Barry Lyons; her sister-in-law Alene Richardson of Galax, Virginia; her grandchildren, Barry Alan Lyons and Monte Eric; her great grandchildren, Ethan Codell Lyons and Kyleigh Erica Lyons; her close friend Mike Anthony; and also Susie Hash-Lyons. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
