It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nadine Kenny Dalton of Galax, Virginia, who passed away on December 16, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Jefferson and Eva Mae Sexton Kenny; her husband Richard Dalton; and her siblings, Christine Tatum, Bobby Kenny, Jimmy Kenny and Larry Kenny.
She is survived by: her daughter Charlotte; her son-in-law Mark Gillespie of Galax, Virginia; her brother Jerry; her sister-in-law Carla Kenny of Thaxton, Virginia; her granddaughter Melissa Burcham Poindexter (Robert); her great grandchild Holly Felts Aldridge (Josh); and her great great grandchildren, Thomas and Juniper.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home (201 W Center St, Galax, VA 24333). A graveside service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Monta Vista Cemetery (1031 Glendale Rd, Galax, VA 24333).
