She was predeceased by: her parents, Lonnie Hodge and Roxie White Hodge; and her siblings, Betty Brown, Patsy Lowe and Luke Hodge.
She is survived by: her husband Dean Vaughan of Galax, Virginia; her daughters, Kathy Marsh (Dwain) and Rebecca Vaughan-Funk (Brian); her brother Wade Hodge of Galax, Virginia; and her grandchildren, Katie Ali of Fort Hood, Texas, Brett Anauo of Sylvatus, Virginia, Jessica Alkaya of Germany, Roger Alley of Galax, Virginia and Alex Vaughan-Funk of Galax, Virginia. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
