She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Bert Theo and Naomi Worrell Hines; her son Chris; her daughter-in-law Karen Porter of Hillsville, Virginia; her daughter Kerri Porter of Galax, Virginia; her grandchildren, Angelica Porter, Phillip Porter and Allison Porter; and her sisters, Susan Chappell of Aiken and Kathy Alley of Independence, Virginia. She was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
