He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Repass and Dorothy May Grubb Hardin. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Watson Hardin of Galax; his daughters, Tracey (Steven Crigger) and Krystal (Clint Austin); his grandchildren, Joshua Dylan Crigger, Gabe Crigger and Oliva Crigger; his stepsons, Jeffery Akers of Charlotte, NC, Chris Akers of West Jefferson, NC and Ken Akers of Kansas City, KS; and his siblings, Jolene Kitts of Wytheville, Luther (Sue Hardin) and James (Joan Hardin). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Do to Covid-19, a private family only graveside service will be held 2 P. M. Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at the Southwest Virginia Veteran's Cemetery in Dublin with Pastor Darrin Brannock officiating.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to St Jude's or the Men's Fellowship Group at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Independence.
