She was predeceased by: her parents, Troy Hoover and Melba Ruth Woods Leonard; and her brother Roger Leonard. She is survived by: her children, Christine and Charles Binck of King; her grandsons, Connor Binck and Cody Binck; her siblings, Barbara (Mike Talley) and Robert L.; her sister-in-law Barbara Leonard of Galax, Virginia; her niece Michelle Huntington; and also, Alex, Jennifer Leonard, Anthony, Emily Leonard, Eric, Dusty Talley and David Talley.
