She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester R. Crouse and Myrtie Blevins Crouse; her husband Wayne Elwood Diamond; and her children, Michael Diamond and Mildred Wirt.
She is survived by: her children, Carolyn (Danny Cockerham), Dorothy Griffith of King and Ronald; her daughter-in-law Linda Diamond of Midlothian, Virginia; and her grandchildren, Jill, Catherine, David, Jeffrey, Matthew, Jean, Cindy, Dane, Mark and Lisa. She is also survived by seventeen great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Hillcrest Baptist Church, 1218 South Main Street, Galax, Virginia 24333.
