He is survived by: his daughter Melodie; his son-in-law Michael Strickland; his siblings, Mary Francis Dalton, Bedford Martin and Fred Martin; his grandchildren, Shane Carper, Cody Strickland and Grace Strickland; and his great grandchildren, Preston Jobe and Winston Carper. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
